Happy New Year Lindsay,
Brad and I spent four days in Mexico over Christmas at Puerto Penasco. It is only about 250 miles from Prescott, so we drove down. We golfed on Christmas day, and other wise just sat on the beach and relaxed. We had a room right on the beach so we'd sit on our deck and watch the sun set every evening. When we returned, we picked up two of Brad's boys, Tucker and Drew at the airport in Phoenix and spent the rest of the holiday being tourists.
It sounds like you are having a great time in Africa and making lots of new friends. I can't wait to eat your cooking when you return as an amazing chef.
I think I'm going to be assigned to work on our African project. We are developing a huge copper deposit in the Congo (Tenke) investing hundreds of millions of $$ and my group (engineering) has to keep track of all the $$ being spent. But I won't be traveling to the Congo, I'm not as brave as you. The closest I'd get would be Jo'burg. That's where our main office is located.

Merry Christmas!! (Sorry it is late!!) And HAPPY NEW YEAR Lindsay! I am so glad that things are going so well for you. It really sounds so exciting. I wanted to see pictures of the nasty BUGS! Well things are the same here in South Dakota. I think I need to take cooking lessons from you though. I went to pre-heat the oven to make meatloaf and I didn't know that Tom had a box of muffins that he was storing in there..well dumb me I didnt check the oven before I pre-heated it and I started my oven on fire! Yes the Fire dept came..how embarrassing!!!! Good lesson learned though! Take care & we love & miss you! Love, Paige,Tom, Noah and Josie. :)
Hi Lindsay! Happy 2008! Just wanted to say "hi" and let you know we enjoy hearing about your little adventure. Tanner turned one at the end of December so he is offically a BIG boy!
